By accessing or using Papered ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Papered is a web application that connects to your Stripe account to retrieve transaction data and enables you to generate and send professional PDF invoices to your customers. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
By connecting your Stripe account, you authorize Papered to access your transaction and customer data for the purpose of generating invoices. You represent that you have the authority to connect the Stripe account and that your use of the data complies with Stripe's terms of service and applicable laws.
You agree not to:
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the invoices you generate and send through the Service. Papered does not verify the correctness of invoice amounts, tax calculations, or compliance with local invoicing regulations. You should consult with a qualified accountant or legal professional regarding your invoicing obligations.
Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fees. If payment fails, we may suspend access to the Service. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Papered. You retain ownership of any data you provide, including your business information and invoice content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data as necessary to provide the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Papered and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that invoices generated will meet all legal requirements in your jurisdiction.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the application settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the application. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Papered operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
